Incoming and Outgoing Mail
Who opens the mail?
For the most part, Dhaval opens the mail and inserts it into the correct mail slot for the recipient. If the mail says “Confidential”, then he does not open it.
How to receive the mail
The mail is delivered to the office via another employee, so there is only the need to sort the mail once it is received.
Not every piece of mail needs to be shown to a manager. If it is something that is recurring, or can be handled by Dhaval, he does so.
Since everyone is working from home now, if there is an urgent and confidential piece of mail that shows up to the office, then Dhaval, on the day he goes into the office, will send a picture of the piece of mail to the correct recipient to let them know they need to come to the office and check it out. If it does not say confidential, he will scan the mail into an email and send it to the recipient so they don’t have to come into the college to pick it up.
Contents of the mail
The most common type of mail for Dhaval to receive is letters from a law firm, City of London, or London Hydro Union.
